Hi! I am Hope Fuhrmann,

I am daughter to two incredible people. Sister to nine funny, hard working siblings and auntie to a growing number of precious kids! God is my father and my faith in, and love of Christ is the foundation to all I do.

I was born in Jordan while my family was missionaries in Africa, and I now work on the natural farm and ministry my family started and operates.

My love for children and birth work stemmed from our time as missionaries and the biographies of orphanages I read growing up. As I grew older, I realized all the problems and pain that seem to surround women and birth and it upset me. But as I studied and learned more about women’s health and the way we are designed, I turned from slightly bitter to amazed and excited.

The moment when a new life comes into the world is an emotional and vulnerable time for mama, baby, and husband and as I heard stories, I realized the immense need for more education and support.

Our culture has driven birth farther and farther from its natural origin and deep into the medical system. Making it into an “emergency” situation and having it in an emergency environment. When it is a perfectly natural part of life and is beautiful.

Growing up and being a part of pregnancy and birth inspired me to learn more so that I could help. I took my doula training in 2021 and have been honored to grow and learn alongside women since.
